SERVE Noblesville stands alongside Noblesville Diversity Coalition as advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Noblesville community. NDC is committed to creating and maintaining a culture that respects and values all individuals by promoting community efforts that celebrate our differences.
Noblesville is growing in diversity. Over 55 languages are spoken within the Noblesville school district.
Since 2018, SERVE Noblesville has partnered with the Noblesville Diversity Coalition to coordinate a Friday evening Cultural Celebration on the courthouse square to recognize the diversity of Noblesville's residents. The new event showcased 18 booths with food, music and other traditions from all over the world, including Puerto Rico, Kenya, Venezuela, Belgium, Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Jamaica, West Africa, and more.
More than service projects, SERVE Noblesville is about creating opportunities for our neighbors to meet, interact, and develop a stronger appreciation for one another. The Cultural Celebration is wonderful gathering highlighting the diversity and inclusion that we desire to be a part of Noblesville.
A second Cultural Celebration will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 from 6:00-9:00pm. More details will be shared about the event and how to get involved as the event draws closer.
The contest deadline is midnight ET, Sunday, April 12, 2020.
